Guillaume Lagger

A self-taught musician, Guillaume Lagger trained himself by playing with bands from all horizons, which gradually led him to open the traditional harmonica playing to other influences and to use it in unusual contexts. Exploring chromaticism on the diatonic harmonica, he likes to mix blues with various world musics (rather from West Africa, Maghreb and the Near East) and with a lot of improvisation and sound experimentation. With, always, the concern to seek its own sound, to develop its own universe, in particular with the group L’ironie du son and by composing for the theater.
