New - Special Jamaica workshop

Intended for intermediate and advanced musicians wishing to discover or perfect their collective practice of Jamaican music from the 60s to the present day.

Exploration of styles from ska, a complex mix of Caribbean and African cultures and American jazz, to reggae, this workshop invites you to replay and revisit the classics of the groups that made the heyday of the genre, such as the Skatalites, the Gladiators or the Wailers.

Afro-Cuban workshop

Would you like to discover Afro-Cuban music? Be it salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia or Latin jazz, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with this musical style!

All you need is a basic mastery of your instrument to start making the rhythms and melodies of Afro-Cuban music your own. You will practice musical arrangements adapted to the students’ instruments and technical ability in groups of 4 to 12 players.

Style mixing and World music

STYLE MIXING AND WORLD MUSIC WORKSHOP

Repertoire stemming from or linked to different traditions (Balkans, oriental, flamenco, celtic etc) selected and picked with the participants. According to your preferences, work on metrics, melodic ornamentation, aural skills and memory, interaction, improvisation, groove, fusion etc…

This workshop is open to all instrument players and singers.
